Yoga Classes

A slow and methodical introduction to yoga, this 4-week pre-registered class works to lengthen muscles, identify and build strength in weaker areas, and introduce meditation techniques to calm the nervous system. This class is a great place to start if you’re new to yoga, are injured and/or prefer a class catering specifically to mens’ needs.

Yoga for Stiff Men

Need a good work out, but also find yourself feeling a little stiff after?  This class will make your body feel new again!  We’ll work through exercises that engage each of your major muscle groups in various combinations of movements. We begin with a dynamic warm-up, add resistance training (could be with hand held weights or a theraband (elastic) and end with a head-to-toe stretch.

Stretch & Strength

Chair yoga focuses on mobility, breath and relaxation. The practice is designed to bring us back to the present moment through mindful movement.  Expect to alleviate tension in the shoulders, hips and overall stiffness that you may be encountering in your body, and learn some techniques to strengthen muscles and joints. This class will leave you feeling rejuvenated and calm.

Chair Yoga

This class is structured in a sequence of postures to develop strength and flexibility. The spine is released through stability and breath. Taught in the tradition of Vanda Scaravelli, the student is guided to consciously balance effort and rest. This class is suitable for all levels.
